Shawn Lane is a three-time GRAMMY Nominee and 28-time IBMA Award winner with Blue Highway.   A fan-favorite vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter, Shawn co-founded supergroup Blue Highway and heralded space-age I-Tone Picks.  Shawn is as explosive on fiddle as he is on mandolin and guitar, and often lends his talents to the Grammy Award-winning Earls of Leicester when not on the road with Blue Highway.   Shawn is also headlining a select number of solo events with his family, due to popular demand, as Shawn Lane & Family.

Shawn Lane  # 1 for 7 Weeks  with Single "I Met the Man!"

Shawn Lane's single "I MET THE MAN" topped the Bluegrass Today Gospel Chart at #1 for SEVEN WEEKS!  

The single is currently in the midst of  * 25 WEEKS in the Top 5  * of the Bluegrass Today Gospel Chart  as of December 28, 2018.

The song hit Number 1 exactly one month after it released ... releasing on May 15, and hitting #1 on June 15.  The powerful song about Shawn's dad coming back after 17 days in a coma, with a story to tell ~ went #1 on Father's Day weekend! 

The song was # 1 for the weeks of June 15 - 29, July 6 , 20, 27, and August 3, 2018.

Shawn Lane was honored to be included on the 2018 IBMA Awards Second Round Ballot (released June 13) for MALE VOCALIST and MANDOLIN PLAYER OF THE YEAR!  One of Shawn's songs is also listed for Song of the Year ~ "Now That's a Song" recorded by Volume Five, co-written by Bob Minner.
